Andy received his B.A. in rhetoric at UC Berkeley, and his J.D. from USC Law, where he was a Merit Scholar, a Tuverson & Hillyard Scholarship recipient, and a published Senior Submissions Editor for the Southern California Law Review. He completed a full-time judicial externship for the Chief Judge of the U.S. 9th Circuit Court of Appeals, and a federal clerkship at the U.S. District Court in Las Vegas, before returning to a global law firm as a transactional attorney, where he represented a variety of clients including major television networks, major league sports teams, reality television personalities, and prominent business owners. Prior to joining Weintraub Tobin, Andy was in-house at a private investment fund as its Deputy General Counsel, and then partnered with a 30-year entertainment industry veteran to co-found a boutique entertainment law firm that focused on independent financing, development, and production for film and television.
