Justin Borrowdale Named a 40 Under 40 Honoree by Sacramento Business Journal

Weintraub Tobin is pleased to announce that Justin M. Borrowdale has been recognized as a 40 Under 40 honoree for 2024 by the Sacramento Business Journal. Each year, the publication honors some of the region’s most accomplished young professionals, including executives, entrepreneurs, non-profit leaders, and professional advisors.
Justin is a shareholder at Weintraub Tobin and member of the Corporate practice group. His legal practice focuses on counseling public and private clients through merger and acquisition deals, finance transactions, and related commercial transactions. He advises entities of all sizes, from family-owned businesses to institutional investors. Over the last few years, he has been part of some of the largest recent M&A deals in the Sacramento area, helping to further fuel and propel the growth and strength of our region’s economic engine.
Justin serves on the Board of Directors for the Capital Region Family Business Center (FBC), lending his time and expertise to the area’s large community of multi-generational family businesses. In addition, he serves on the FBC’s Programs Committee, assisting the organization in developing and delivering high-value educational and affinity group events throughout the Sacramento and Northern California regions. Justin regularly presents as a volunteer educator to members of local startup business organizations such as StartupSac, providing education on company formation, financing and fundraising, corporate governance practices, and other foundational needs of emerging businesses.
Justin has been recognized by his peers in the legal community for excellence in his practice, having been named to the Best Lawyers in America® “Ones to Watch” and Northern California Rising Star lists for the last several years. In 2023, he was named to Sacramento Magazine’s Top Lawyers List for his work in Business & Corporate law.
