Weintraub Genshlea Chediak Law Corporation, a business law and litigation firm, is pleased to announce that Alden J. Parker, a founding partner of Basham Parker LLP, has agreed to join the firm as a shareholder in its Labor and Employment Group.
Parker has extensive experience in wrongful termination, sexual harassment, retaliation and employment discrimination litigation in federal and state courts. “Alden is an outstanding attorney with considerable experience in the labor and employment arena and we are thrilled to have him join us” said Chuck Post, Chair of the firm’s Labor and Employment Group. Parker’s practice over the years has included cases relating to unfair business practices, trade secrets, violation of wage and hour laws, breach of contract, as well as numerous other tort and statutory employment law causes of action. “He is extremely well regarded in the legal community so when this opportunity presented itself, we jumped on it. He is a talented attorney and he will be a great addition to the firm” says Michael Kvarme, the firm’s Managing Shareholder.

Parker’s practice will add breadth to the firm’s existing labor and employment practice, as well as compliment the firm’s other practice areas.
In order to serve the firm’s growing client needs, the firm will be opening a bay area office in the next few weeks.
