Jeff is an associate in the firm’s Corporate and Intellectual Property groups. Jeff focuses his practice on representing public and private companies.
Jeff represents clients in all aspects of corporate and securities law, corporate governance, corporate finance, mergers and acquisitions and intellectual property matters. Jeff represents a broad range of clients from start-ups to publicly traded companies. He regularly prepares and advises companies regarding SEC filings, such as form 10-K, form 10-Qs and proxy statements.
Jeff earned his J.D. from the University of California, Davis, in 2006. While a student, Jeff served as an Articles Editor for the UC Davis Law Review and the UC Davis Business Law Journal. During law school, Jeff became a certified volunteer in the IRS’s Volunteer Income Tax Assistance Program where he prepared tax forms for low to moderate income individuals. In 2004, Jeff worked as an intern in the Law and Motions Division of the Superior Court of California, County of Sacramento.
Prior to law school, Jeff worked for Charles Schwab & Co., Inc., where he obtained his Series 7 and Series 63 licenses. At Schwab, Jeff worked as a financial advisor providing guidance to his clients on various matters, such as portfolio and risk allocation, stock selection, retirement and tax planning.
Jeff was named a Rising Star by Northern California SuperLawyers in 2011 and 2012.
In his free time, Jeff enjoys writing, traveling, and sports.
